2025 Yenko Camaro: What We Know?

As the legendary sixth-generation Chevy Camaro takes its final bow, fans of the iconic nameplate are left in awe. While there won’t be a new Chevrolet Camaro model anytime soon, there’s still one last ride that promises to leave a lasting impression.

Enter the SV 2025 Yenko Camaro, a high-performance beast packing a mind-blowing 1,500 horsepower. This isn’t just a farewell—it’s a bold culmination of everything the Camaro name stands for.

Yenko: The Muscle Car Powerhouse

Yenko has long been the go-to performance dealership for muscle car enthusiasts who crave more power than the factory offers. Over the years, Yenko has delivered some of the most insane muscle cars, each one outperforming its factory-tuned counterparts. Although the 2024 Camaro marks the end of the road for Chevrolet’s production of the Camaro, they made sure to go out with a masterpiece.

The sixth-generation Camaro launched with three powertrain options, including a 335-horsepower V6 engine and the monstrous 6.2L supercharged V8 in the Camaro ZL1, boasting an impressive 650 horsepower. As a final tribute, Chevrolet is releasing a collector’s edition with unique styling, though they opted not to include a Z28 package—perhaps signaling a creative exhaustion.

The 2025 Yenko Camaro: What to Expect

But the 2025 Yenko Camaro is where things get really exciting. Like the factory-tuned 2024 Camaro, the 2025 Yenko will be the last of its kind, marking the end of modern Yenko Camaros, which have been produced by Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) since Yenko Chevrolet closed its doors in 1982.

The 2025 Yenko Camaro will come in three variants: Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3. The first two stages will feature a supercharged 6.8L V8 engine, which closely resembles General Motors’ 6.2L LT1 small-block engine. The Stage 1 variant produces an astounding 1,150 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque, while the Stage 2 model steps it up to 1,200 horsepower and 1,000 lb-ft of torque.

The Beastly Stage 3 Model

Then there’s the Stage 3 variant—the crown jewel. With only 100 units slated for production, this model features a 7.0L supercharged V8 engine based on GM’s 6.6L iron-block engine. However, this is no ordinary engine. Precision-engineered with forged aluminum pistons, high-flow LT4 heads, and a race-spec rotating assembly, the Stage 3 engine produces an incredible 1,500 horsepower and 1,280 lb-ft of torque. It’s so powerful that it requires race fuel to operate!

Beyond the raw power, the Stage 3 Yenko Camaro includes a six-speed manual transmission, though an automatic option is available for those who prefer it.

Performance and Engineering Excellence

The 2025 Yenko Camaro isn’t just about raw horsepower. All three variants come equipped with Chevrolet’s factory 1LE package, which includes a heavy-duty cooling system, dual outboard radiators, magnetic ride control, an electronic limited-slip differential, and a performance-tuned suspension. These features promise a smooth yet exhilarating ride.

SVE adds its own performance upgrades as well, including a forged steel crankshaft, custom aluminum wheels, and a carbon fiber hood with a raised scoop cowl. The Stage 3 model even includes a design package reminiscent of the original Yenko Camaro, complete with a YSC/SCC decal on the rear quarter panels and a black stripe highlighting the aerodynamic lines of the car.

The Legacy of the Yenko Camaro

SVE claims the 2025 Yenko Camaro is their most powerful yet, and with 1,500 horsepower on paper, it’s hard to argue. The Camaro ZL1 can hit 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph, but the Yenko Stage 3 is expected to smash those records, potentially hitting 60 mph in just 1.1 seconds.

While the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1, with a top speed of 217 mph, holds the title of the fastest Camaro ever, the 2025 Yenko may well dethrone it. Other custom performance shops, like Hennessey, are also working on their own send-offs, such as the 1,000-horsepower “Final Edition” Camaro.

The Future of the Camaro Nameplate

Without a doubt, the 2025 Yenko Camaro will be a fitting way to end the Camaro lineup, showcasing how far a Chevrolet muscle car can go with the right engineering. While GM is discontinuing the Camaro nameplate, SVE is still keeping details of pricing under wraps, though estimates suggest the Stage 3 model could start around $180,000.

Available only in the U.S. and Canada, this limited edition is sure to become a collector’s item. So, what do you think? Will the 2025 Yenko Camaro stand the test of time against newer hyper-performance cars? Let us know in the comments!
